- AI agentAn AI agent is software that uses an AI model to work towards a goal by planning steps and using tools, such as searching, reading files or updating systems, with limits and approvals set by people.
- AI copilotAn AI copilot is an AI assistant built into the software you already use, helping you write, analyse or act inside that application.
- AI governanceAI governance is the set of policies, roles and processes an organisation uses to decide how AI is chosen, used, monitored and held accountable.

- Computer visionComputer vision is the field of AI that enables computers to interpret images and video, for example to recognise objects, read text or detect defects.
- Context windowThe context window is the maximum amount of text, measured in tokens, that an AI model can consider at one time, including your prompt, documents and its reply.
- Conversational AIConversational AI is the set of technologies that let computers understand and respond to human language in a dialogue, by text or voice.
- CRMA CRM (customer relationship management) system stores and organises a business's contacts, conversations, deals and follow-ups in one place.

- EmbeddingAn embedding is a list of numbers that represents the meaning of a piece of text, image or other data, so that similar meanings have similar numbers.
- EvaluationEvaluation is the structured testing of an AI system's outputs against agreed examples and criteria to measure quality before and after launch.

- Generative AIGenerative AI is AI that creates new content, such as text, images, audio, video or code, in response to a prompt.
- GroundingGrounding means tying an AI model's answers to specific, trusted source information rather than letting it rely only on what it learned in training.
- GuardrailsGuardrails are rules and technical controls that keep an AI system within safe, approved behaviour, such as topics it may discuss, data it may use and actions it may take.
