What is AI readiness?
AI readiness is how prepared an organisation is to use AI effectively, across strategy, people and skills, processes, data, technology and governance.

AI readiness, explained
An AI readiness assessment looks at whether leaders have clear goals for AI, whether staff have the skills and confidence to use it, whether processes are documented, whether data is accessible and of good quality, and whether rules exist for safe use. The result is a baseline and a list of priorities, such as training before tools, or cleaning data before automation. Readiness is not a pass-or-fail test; every organisation can start somewhere.
Example
A logistics firm's readiness assessment shows strong data but low staff confidence, so it starts with team workshops before automation.
